Because of the constant revisions, the third edition of the book has been brought out. In the third edition, the title Design of Small Dams has been retained even though some of the information here relates to large dams.

Many of the theoretical concepts presented can be applied to large or small structures; however, it is recommended that the procedures and methods presented be used only as guidelines.
