The layout makes reading and finding information easy. Writing style is concise and enjoyable.
Coverage is comprehensive enough to get around with, but not enough to know EVERYTHING about any particular country in SE Asia (be mindful that this is a rapidly developing region, that by the time a book is printed, some of the information like hostel and restaurant reviews is no longer relevant). The book is PERFECT for those traveling to multiple SEA countries with a flexible itinerary, as it gives you a very good overview of everything you need to know, plus a comprehensive coverage on the various travel routes (price, time, which is better, etc.
) between each countries. It was the lone travel guide book that I used traveling in Cambodia and Thailand, and it was sufficient.
